Use the profile picture maker when a site crops your image into a square or circle and important details disappear.
Choose a size that matches the destination if it gives one. Larger clean exports are safer than tiny images that become blurry.
For logos, use a plain background and enough padding so the mark does not touch the edge of circular previews.
